what is ipSchools

A data collection tool for schools, pupils, parents and teachers. We named it ipSchools which is a web unified database management system targeting over 170K schools, 7M pupils. It is operational now and there are over 100 schools using ipSchools from different states in the Sudan. ipSchools has been introduced to the ministry of education (MoE) and we signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on 31st August 2020, the requirements for education quality measurements (such as the pupil dropout, health records, special needs, vaccination etc. ) were taken carefully and implemented in the system Arabic/English interfaces are made available. All reports are categorized by region, state, locality and admin unit. Also all EMIS reports can be produced instantly, data input is at school level. School GPS location plus other required keys (electrify, drinking water, clinic, WC etc.) have rooms in the database.
